Thousand Islands River Park
This park is one of the largest protected natural areas in the metropolitan region. Visitors can explore the islands and shores of the archipelago through guided activities, boat tours, and hiking trails. In winter, snowshoeing, skating, cross-country skiing, or simply walking are popular activities. In summer, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, pedal boating, and fishing are very popular. The park also offers cruises, exhibitions, snow tubing, scavenger hunts, and activities for children.
High school poly-youth
Located just 500 meters from the building, Poly-Jeunesse school welcomes approximately 1,800 students. The school offers several specialized services, including language support, learning support, and behavioral intervention. In addition to the required subjects, Poly-Jeunesse offers a variety of enrichment projects, all designed to stimulate student interest and success.

Cedars Elementary School
École des Cèdres offers services to students from preschool to grade 6. The school also offers an arts-studies program in music. Educational professionals also provide services to students with special needs (learning specialist, speech-language pathologist, psychologist, etc.).

Cedars School Park
A nature park surrounded by mature trees is also located near Durocher. It is situated very close to the previously mentioned primary school. There are two playgrounds with play structures, equipment for young children and older children, a basketball hoop, and four swings. Picnic tables, benches, and rocks are also placed around the area for the comfort of visitors.

Golf Sainte-Rose
Located just 1.5 km from Durocher, this golf course offers a good challenge despite its short distance. With water hazards on 14 of the 18 holes, it favors accuracy over power, making it an interesting course for golfers of all skill levels.
